Gay Rome

Gay Rome 2018

Gay RomeAdmit it! At some point, you’ve fantasized about the days of the Roman Empire and what they must have got up to, or at the very least thought about wearing a gladiator outfit with nothing on underneath.

Gay lifestyles were rampant in those days and a perfectly acceptable way of life. But of course, Christianity took over. 2,000 years later, it is still a city that has to tread lightly, since the Vatican is your next door neighbour!

But it does have a good gay scene and of course, a much more liberal Pope these days, so it is coming back out of its shell. Heck, there’s a gay bar right next to the Colosseum! Then again, that plays into that fantasy, eh?
